Barry Saywitz

Mr. Saywitz has more than 36 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He began his career in the late 1980’s with Grub & Ellis in San Diego, CA, and then with Howard Ecker & Company in Orange County, California. In 1992 Mr. Saywitz became a partner in the West Coast Operations of Howard Ecker & Company and in 1994 he purchased the outstanding stock of the company and changed the name to The Saywitz Company. In 1996 Mr. Saywitz founded the CORE Network, a national commercial real estate brokage network, and grew that organization to more than 100 member partners with offices in more than 120 cities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and globally. Mr. Saywitz serves today as Chairman Emeritus of that prestigious organization which is one of the largest commercial real estate organizations in the United States. Today, The Saywitz Company maintains its corporate offices in Newport Beach, California with branch offices in San Diego, California. The Saywitz Company has negotiated real estate transactions in all 50 States as well as throughout Canada and Mexico.

In 2000, Mr. Saywitz founded Saywitz Properties, a real estate investment company, to acquire multi-family and commercial properties throughout Southern California. Today, Saywitz Properties manages and maintains its own portfolio of properties throughout Southern California. Mr. Saywitz oversees the day-to-day operations of Saywitz Properties as well as The Saywitz Company and continues to work on selected real estate transactions for The Saywitz Company and acquisitions for Saywitz Properties. Mr. Saywitz is a sought-after speaker for real estate conferences and has written numerous articles for various real estate trade publications, magazines and newspapers. Mr. Saywitz also has taught real estate classes at multiple universities in Orange County. He has received numerous accolades from various real estate publications such as The Orange County Business Journal, Ernst & Young, Entrepreneur of the Year, and National Real Estate Investor Magazine for his various accomplishments in the real estate industry over the years.

Mr. Saywitz also hosts “Let’s Talk Real Estate” a weekly live radio show/podcast which airs on OCTalkRadio.net. Mr. Saywitz’ guests on the show included business leaders, real estate professionals, developers, financial experts, politicians and public figures as well as experts in various segments of the real estate field. Mr. Saywitz is a licensed General Contractor in the State of California as well as a licensed commercial Real Estate Broker. Through his own personal efforts and through The Saywitz Company, Mr. Saywitz has contributed significantly to the communities in which he serves and conducts business. The Saywitz Company supports more than 100 charitable organizations, community resources, educational organizations, and special needs charities, who provide services for a variety of causes. The company provides financial and practical support to these organizations on both a local and national level. Mr. Saywitz resides in Newport Beach and continues to play an active role in growing his businesses and serving the communities and the company’s client base. Mr. Saywitz has also been named one of the top real estate brokers in the country by several real estate organizations and magazines and has negotiated transactions of all sizes throughout North America.
